Bikesafe Rider Training is Sheffield's finest Motorcycle Training Centre with a long history of success and a high pass rate. Operated from Owlerton Stadium we have a large space in which to practise manoeuvres before venturing onto the open road.
Our success is based on your success and it is important for us to try and get you on the road as soon as possible, in order to do this we offer a free evaluation of your riding to get you the right training package.
I would like to thank Ian, Steve, Big and little Dave and Anne for your patience and ability to put up with quite the energetic and dizzy student! Passed Mod1 and Mod2 with these guys first time. The instructors skills and encouragement are second to none. I feel as though i've lost my left arm since passing...miss the Bikesafe lot already. Special thanks to Ian and Steve for all your hard work and for instilling confidence.
A big thanks to Big Dave and Ian for getting me through my MOD 1 and 2 without any minors. Dave was very thorough and i can still hear him now in my sleep telling me to turn my indicator off. Ian was great too. He took me on what looked like every road and roundabout in Rotherham before my test. This no doubt helped calm my nerves and helped me get through my test. Ian is also good at giving great cooking advice. That curry recipe was fantastic Ian. A big thank you to you all
Just want to say a big 'Thank-you' to Anne and the team for a truly brilliant experience despite the dreary November weather.Had a number of set-backs like dropping the bike!!!! But was still given constant encouragement and bags of patience, was on top of the world when i passed with a clean sheet! A wonderful, dedicated and profesional team - many thanks!
Booked a free 1 hour taster session through www.geton.co.uk and arrived Tues 20/11/12 in Sheffield at Bikesafe. Bit wet and overcast but didn't let that stop me from having a great session, met Phil who was very welcoming then introduced me to Dave who would be my instructor and he was absolutely great. I've never been in control of a bike or scooter before and I'm 40 years old!! Let me have a go at a 50cc moped then a 125cc with gears. The scooter was a breeze but bit harder with gears but I guess you get used to it. Dave reassured me all the way I was like a big kid well excited. They both gave me some great advice and only too happy to answer my questions. Didn't even ask if I would like to book any further training so no pressure at all!! If you're wanting to do any sort of bike training I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys...brilliant!! Only downside of the day is I then had to take the wife shopping at Meadowhall ;-)
I passed all of my tests first time thanks to all the team down at bikesafe, a huge thanks to big Dave for been so thorough with everything from actual riding skills to knowledge of the road, you made it both interesting and exciting. I have and will recommend bikesafe for all those thinking of doing the DAS course. Once again thanks for everything. Ps I buy my bike at the end of the month.
